Photoshop - Batch Processing Colorchange

I thought I had read somewhere that I could automatically batch process a number of files in a folder.... Where is this found? and how does it work?

It's called a droplet. You create an action and then go to File > Automate > Create Droplet. Point the droplet to the action. Then set up the droplet on your desktop and drag and drop a folder of images and it will open Photoshop and run without you having to monitor it, if it's created properly.

But you still need to create the action first. Your original question was about batch processing a color change. You still need to create the action that corrects the color, and it needs to work on every image in the folder.

Learn Photoshop Via Podcasting (FREE)

Apple has just updated iTunes to 4.9 for Mac and Windows machines. iTunes now fully supports "podcasting". I have spent the last 2 days getting aquainted with Podcasting and am loving it. If you have an iPod you can listen daily to over 3,000 existing podcasts. You can find podcasts on virtually any subject. An iPod allows you to listen to these podcasts on the go. You can even listen and learn about photography and photoshop while you are out and about taking those photos! But, you do not need an iPod to take advantage of podcasting. Nor do you need to have a Mac. You can listen on your desktop or laptop computer.

I am putting together 2 new pages that cover Podcasting and iTunes 4.9. There is a special section devoted to Photography, Digital Photography and Photoshop. Interestingly there is already quite a few such podcasts. Don't let
"macpodcasts" scare you. There is pleanty here for Windows users as well.

Forms With Checkboxes

I have a form with checkboxes in it. I am trying to email the form using cfmail but I get this error:

Parameter 1 of function IsDefined, which is now "34.99", must be a syntactically valid variable name.

My checkbox in the form looks like this: <input type="checkbox" name="Urdu" value="34.99">

My cfmail page looks like this:
<cfmail from= "me@mymail.com" to="me@theirmail.com" subject="Subject Here" server="mail.mymail.com" type="html">
<cfif IsDefined(FORM.Urdu)>#Form.Urdu#</cfif>
</cfmail>

Is it because of the 34.99 with the decimal in it? I only want to pass the checked boxes in the form to the email message.

Answer:
For the IsDefined function, you need to include the variable name inside double-quotes. You will want to pass in a specific string containing the variable name, not the contents of the variable.

Like this: <CFIF IsDefined("FORM.Urdu")>

Stop Unititled.doc in DreamweaverMX

About a year ago I came across a thread where it was discussed how to open Dreamweaver without having an untitled doc auto-opened for you. Do you know how to accomplish this?

Sure,
